When the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) required interior renovations, while maintaining building operations, for their historically significant headquarters facility, OBLN was the natural choice. Through multiple design-build efforts OLBN, as the lead designer and general contractor, worked with the General Services Administration (GSA) and HHS to renovate 30,000 square feet of office and public spaces within the building, including the Assistant Secretary for Administration (ASA)’s Suite (pictured here). OLBN was able to provide cost effective, modern interior designs which met current federal office standards and upgraded life safety systems while maintaining full building functionality throughout construction.
